Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley via Ait Ben Haddou

  • After breakfast, you will continue your adventure by traveling the High Atlas Mountains, through many authentic towns and Berber villages. There will be plenty of stops for tea and photographs as you take in the breathtaking vistas. At the highest point on the pass, known as Col du Tichka, you will reach an altitude of nearly 7500 feet above sea level before descending to the village of Telouet and visiting Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a famous 17th-century fortress and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also famed for being the shooting location for Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Prince of Persia.
  • Lunch will be served in a restaurant near the kasbah. Next, you’ll drive past Skoura city, along the Road of 1000 Kasbahs through the Valley of Roses, to reach Boumalne Dades (Dades valley).

Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga via Todra Gorge

  • After enjoying breakfast, you'll depart from the hotel to explore the stunning Todra Gorge, a well-loved destination for hikers. Following your hike in the Todra Gorge, your journey continues as you head to visit the "khattarat," one of the oldest irrigation systems in the world.
  • You will then proceed to the vast dunes of the Sahara, where you will transition to a more traditional mode of transportation and embark on a camel ride into the heart of the dunes, making your way to the luxurious desert camp where you'll spend the night. Upon arrival, you can ascend the nearest dune to witness the sunset. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by traditional music and more opportunities for stargazing. Whether you choose to sleep in the comfort of your Berber tent or under the countless stars of the Sahara, this is destined to be a night that will linger in your memory for a lifetime.

Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech via Draa Valley

  • Rise early in the morning to witness the captivating spectacle of the sunrise atop the dunes, a truly enchanting experience in the Merzouga desert. Marvel at the breathtaking hues as the sun ascends above the horizon. After relishing this mesmerizing sight, indulge in a delightful breakfast at the camp.
  • Following breakfast, you will have the choice to return to the village of Merzouga, either by camel ride or 4x4 vehicle, according to your preference. From there, our journey continues towards Marrakech. En route, we will pass through the historical town of Rissani, once the capital of the ancient Alaouite sultanate. We will then traverse the charming towns of Alnif, Tazarine, and Nkob. Our route will lead us through the stunning Draa Valley, where we'll make a stop to explore the Berber village of Agdz, or visit the Kasbah of Tamnougalt.
  • Continuing our drive, we will head towards Ouarzazate,
  • before passing through the magnificent High Atlas Mountains. Upon reaching Marrakech in late evening, you will be transported to your accommodation, providing a space to relax and unwind after a memorable desert adventure.
